FOLK TAILS
Solo Exhibition at Colborne Lodge, May–August 2024, presented with support from the City of Toronto and the Ontario Arts Council
Folk Tails is an art exhibition at Colborne Lodge, set in the heart of Toronto’s High Park, that invites visitors to rediscover their relationship with the natural world. Guided by a narrative rhyming poem, the exhibition reimagines the historic lodge as a space where the park’s wildlife takes center stage—blurring the boundaries between nature and civilization. Through intricate artworks and storytelling, Folk Tails explores a whimsical world where animals inhabit human dwellings, inviting reflection on our shared environment. This exhibition is a call to see the park not just as a backdrop, but as a living, breathing community—and to honour the interconnectedness of all life within it.
